This week starts off with Katie-Ellen speaking with a lot of authority on something she has virtually no first-hand knowledge of, so you know, a podcast. The topic? Toastmasters. In hindsight, the way Katie described Toastmasters made it seem like a cult.

All this leads Amitai to reveal this near obsession with conjecture. He loves to hear how people perceive things they've not actually experienced. Which is when, dear listener, we receive the SHOCKING* reveal (*that biographically speaking is in no way actually surprising) that Amitai has not seen the movie The Goonies.
Goonies talk leads Katie to reminisce about a local Vancouver diner's (shout out to The Wallflower) Goonies themed bathroom and to declare 38 is "not quite 'nautical bathroom' age" yet.
